UK-Russia Roundtable discussion

Meeting the challenge of antimicrobial resistance

23-24 November 2021

Organised by the UK Science and Innovation Network Russia (SIN Russia) in partnership with the British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy and the Interregional Association for Clinical Microbiology and Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (IACMAC), this two day round table event built on the success of previous UK-Russia expert engagement in the antimicrobial resistance (AMR) arena.

Leaders from Russian and UK medical science, government departments, clinicians, academies and innovation funders met to:

Review progress against the Global Action Plan for AMR
Consider opportunities for strategic alignments, future co-operative working and pragmatic action to address the One Health AMR agenda.
