Representatives from each of the four UK administrations participated in the ESAC project, for which UK wide data was collected and submitted

BSAC recognises the importance of maintatining data-sets for each of the separate UK administrations and in 2009 agreed to support sessional costs for a coordinator to coordinate the collection and submissionof data on behalf of England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.  The Society maintains its support of this operational structure to submit UK ambulatory data to the ECDC.

The UK lead is Professor Peter Davey, Dundee and the UK Coordinator is Hayley Wickens, Antimicrobial Pharmacist, London.
