Surveillance

The BSAC has a long standing involvement in, and commitment to surveillance of antimicrobial agents and in monitoring their consumption.

In addition to supporting a national programme of resistance surveillance, the Society is the UK Coordinating centre for the European Surveillance of Antimicrobial Consumption (ESAC).

Society representatives also serve on a number of international committees.
