Professor, Healthcare Epidemiology, University of West London

Jennie is a Professor at the University of west London where she conducts research on various aspects of IPC practice and lead an MSc Infection Prevention & Control.  She is also currently President of the Infection Prevention Society.  Jennie has worked as an infection control nurse specialist in London teaching hospitals and as a consultant epidemiologist at the Health Protection Agency. She has a degree in microbiology, MSc in Public Health and PhD.  She has also published extensively, is an author of the Epic National Evidence-based Guidelines for Preventing HCAI and the textbook, Infection Control in Clinical Practice
