Principal Clinical Scientist with two decades of diagnostic microbiology experience, based in Hull University Teaching Hospitals.

Currently completing the Higher Scientific Specialist training Programme, with a planned Doctoral graduation in 2024 from the University of Manchester. Recently passed the Postgraduate Diploma in Healthcare Leadership and Management and FRCPath in Medical Microbiology.

Working with the wound healing research team at Hull York Medical School to use Nanopore technology to investigate chronic wounds and to explore the use of novel diagnostics in routine laboratories.
