PhD Student, University of Warwick

I completed my Undergraduate degree in Microbiology at the University of Liverpool in 2016 and then went on to complete a Masters of Research, also at the University of Liverpool, investigating Staphylococcus aureus antimicrobial resistance. I am currently a final year PhD student at the University of Warwick in Dr. Freya Harrison’s group. I am interested in the interactions of bacterial pathogens during chronic infection. My PhD research has focused on infections that affect people with Cystic Fibrosis. I am also passionate about antimicrobial resistance research and improving current laboratory techniques to better reflect clinical infection.
