Consultant antimicrobial pharmacist, Director of Innovation, Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust & Visiting fellow, School of Applied Sciences, University of Huddersfield

Stuart has been a consultant antimicrobial pharmacist since 2017. He completed his PhD on the topic of educational strategies to improve antimicrobial stewardship. Ongoing infection research interests include utility of procalcitonin, antibiotic 72 hour review, use of elastomeric pumps for antibiotics and the impact of COVID-19 on antibiotic use. Stuart contributes PhD supervision and teaching of pharmacy students at the University of Huddersfield and teaching of non-medical prescribing students at the University of Leeds.
