Consultant in Infection, University Hospital Bristol & Weston

Dr Rajeka Lazarus is a Consultant in Infection at the University Hospital Bristol & Weston. She is the Principal Investigator for the COVID-19 vaccine trials for the West of England Clinical Research Network.

She completed her doctorate on the immunology of pneumococcal vaccines in older adults in 2010 whilst working as a research fellow in the Oxford Vaccine Group.

She is interested in all aspects of adult vaccination and established the Clinical Vaccine Network UK in 2017 to raise the profile of adult vaccination.
