Dr Marina Sukhorukova is a Medical Microbiologist of the National Medical Research Center of Neurosurgery named after N.N. Burdenko, Moscow, Russian Federation.
She has been involved in the national antimicrobial resistance surveillance in Russian Federation as a coordinator of multicenter projects of IACMAC for over 15 years.
She is also takes part in collaboration with WHO as a national data coordinator for CAESAR Network in Russian Federation, in WHO technical support missions and workshops for the implementation of WHO antimicrobial resistance protocol and Laboratory Quality Management in neighbouring countries.
Her main research interests are in Good Laboratory Practice in the field of microbiological diagnostic of infections, antimicrobial resistance and surveillance. She has focused on implementation of accurate, effective standard methods of microbiological diagnostic and antimicrobial susceptibility testing in different settings.
