Dr Pollara is a Consultant in Infectious Diseases & Microbiology at University College London Hospitals, as well as Associate Professor in the Division of Infection & Immunity at University College London. His clinical work includes outpatient care of patients with urinary tract infections that may be recurrent or difficult to treat. He has an interest in introducing and investigating new therapies that may improve the care of these patients.
