Dr Eleanor Kashouris, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, University of Sussex

Dr Eleanor Kashouris is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Sociology and Criminology at the University of Sussex, UK. Dr Kashouris works on the Wellcome Trust funded project Marginalisation and the Microbe which looks at how to mobilise on AMR without increasing health inequalities. Her recently completed doctoral thesis explores patient experiences of community-acquired uncomplicated urinary tract infection in the UK through ethnographic research. Dr Kashouris is committed to building capacity for equitable mobilisations on AMR through sociological work with different overlapping groups such as patients, clinicians and public health workers.
