Consultant Microbiologist, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust

Dr Annie Joseph is a Consultant Microbiologist at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, where she is the clinical laboratory lead and lead for Antimicrobial Stewardship. She has a specialist interest in urological infections, fungal infections, and obstetric infections. She is a standing member on the NICE Managing Common Infections committee, a BSAC council member and has worked on national committees with UKHSA, UKNSC and NHSEI. As a former Health Education England Innovation fellow, she has worked to integrate the appropriate use of diagnostics and antimicrobials across Primary and Secondary Care.
