Autumn Gertz, Project Manager, Computational Epidemiology Lab, Boston Children’s Hospital & Harvard Medical School

Autumn Gertz is a Project Manager with the Computational Epidemiology Lab at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. She manages various projects including participatory surveillance systems, and antimicrobial resistance and stewardship platforms. Autumn also supports the group’s innovative research portfolio. Autumn received her Master of Science in Epidemiology from Boston University School of Public Health and completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Microbiology and Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She has worked in microbiology, epidemiology, surveillance, and public health research. With published work examining novel and innovative disease surveillance, Autumn strives to further understand how emerging technology and methods can improve disease monitoring and management.
