The final guideline has now been published on secondary bacterial infection of eczema and other common skin conditions: antimicrobial prescribing.

You can also find the supporting evidence, as well as all the stakeholder comments NICE received during consultation and the responses to these comments. 

The recommendations from this guideline have been included in the NICE pathway on eczema. The recommendations have also been included in the NICE Pathway on other skin or soft tissue infections. There is brief information about the guideline for people using services, carers and the public at ‘Information for the public’.
