BSAC were due to present two posters summarising results of the Resistance Surveillance Programme at ECCMID (European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases) this year.
One poster investigates whether resistance rates among bloodstream isolates are a good proxy for other infections and the other presents data for resistance trends among the common bacterial causes of community-acquired lower respiratory tract infection.
These are now freely available to view, here: http://www.bsacsurv.org/publications/
