7th March 2022

In January BSAC announced a new partnership with Pfizer, focused on reducing inequities in access to antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) programmes, by supporting the development of Centres of Excellence for AMS practice in hospital settings across all health economies.

Since the grant was launched there has been much interest from across the globe as well as queries from potential applicants about the proposal content requirements and requests for more details of the programme mentorship support that will be provided. To clarify this information and provide an opportunity for potential applicants to ask questions, Pfizer and BSAC hosted a webinar on 23rd February 2022. The webinar was recorded for those unable to join the call and is available via this link Pfizer and BSAC RFP Pre-Application Webinar: Establishing Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) Centres of Excellence -20220223 1301-1

We have also utilised discussions during the webinar to inform additional information for applicants detailing what the expert support for AMS looks like, key programme components and example timelines for delivery of the work.
This further information can be found here.

and the Request for Proposal is available via this link.

Finally, a reminder that the deadline for application submissions is 6th April 2022.
