The British Infection Association (BIA), Healthcare Infection Society (HIS), Infection Prevention Society (IPS) and Royal College of Pathologists (RCPath) formed a joint COVID-19 Rapid Guidance working party in April to produce evidence based guidance on COVID-19.
The first part of this guidance is now completed, which gathered evidence on the routes of SARS-CoV-2 transmission, and the working party is seeking comments on this guidance.
The guidance document can be found here: SARS-CoV-2 transmission guidance.
If you would like to submit comments as part of BSAC’s formal response please do so via this comments form, submitting this via email to: fdrummond@bsac.org.uk by Thursday 26 November.
The HIS Working Party will review all comments received and will amend the document as they deem appropriate. All comments will be considered and they will be recorded in the appendix of the published document. If you do not wish your comments to be published, or prefer that they are published anonymously, please state this on the comments form.
If you wish to comment as an individual please forward comments directly to Dr Aggie Bak at: aggie.bak@his.org.uk no later than 11.59pm Sunday 29 November.
