NICE has issued this Medical Technology Consultation document:

Faecal microbiota transplant for recurrent Clostridioides difficile infection

The decision to select this topic for guidance development and route it to the NICE medical technologies evaluation programme was made following a request by NHS England and NHS Improvement.

This consultation includes the following questions:

• Has all the relevant evidence been taken into account?
• Are the summaries of clinical and cost effectiveness reasonable interpretations of the evidence?
• Are the recommendations sound and a suitable basis for guidance to the NHS?
• Are there any equality issues that need special consideration and are not covered in the medical technology consultation document?
