2nd SCI / RSC Symposium on Antimicrobial Drug Discovery

Synopsis: This meeting will examine the state of the art in antimicrobial drug discovery from a medicinal chemist’s perspective. Coinciding with World Antibiotics Awareness week, a two-day programme of speakers from industry and academia will highlight the challenges associated with discovering and developing new antimicrobials, whilst also showcasing emerging strategies that are being developed to tackle infection.
Attendees: Bringing together leading exponents in the field from industry and academia, the meeting will appeal to anyone with an interest in antimicrobial drug discovery. With great opportunities for academic-industrial partnerships, researchers from both sectors will also benefit from the networking opportunities that the meeting will provide.

Short Talks: Early-career researchers wishing to give a short talk (10 min) are encouraged to submit a one-page abstract to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 15 June 2018 with “AMR II – short talk abstract” in the subject line.
Poster & Flash Presentations: Anyone wishing to present a poster should submit a one-page abstract to email@example.com by Friday 14 September 2018 with “AMR II – poster abstract” in the subject line. Selected poster presenters will be given the opportunity to give a flash presentation.
